Access to Mokio Preserve for Moloka’i Residents
Moloka’i Land Trust grants permission (on a first-come, first-served basis) to Molokai residents to enter the Mokio Preserve property controlled by the Moloka’i Land Trust (MLT) for hunting, fishing, and ocean gathering, in accordance with the terms, rules, and policies. Residents of Moloka’i can utilize our online booking request form to gain access to the Mokio Preserve on Saturdays or Sundays and select Holidays. You can choose to book only one of these days (not both) during a single weekend, and each person is limited to one hunting and one fishing/ocean gathering reservation per month.

Conveniently check our online calendar for available dates before submitting your request form. Reservations for Moloka’i residents are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, provided all conditions are met. Fishing and ocean gathering access is available from March 1st through September 30th.
Hunting and Fishing Access Request Form
Your reservation/access will need Moloka’i Land Trust’s final approval before you can pick up the gate access key on the Friday before your reserved Saturday or Sunday.
Reservations are exclusively for Moloka’i residents with proof of residency.
You may book either Saturday or Sunday (not both) during a single weekend, and there is a limit of one hunting and one fishing/ocean gathering reservation per person each month.
Signed waivers and information will be collected in person on the Friday before your reservation at the Moloka’i Land Trust Baseyard Headquarters.
